By downloading, installing, or using VPN Dan ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
VPN Dan provides a virtual private network (VPN) service that encrypts your internet traffic and routes it through secure servers using the AmneziaWG protocol, an obfuscated WireGuard fork. The Service is available as a native application for iPhone (iOS 26 or later) and for Apple silicon Mac (macOS 14 Sonoma or later).
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using VPN Dan, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
To use the Service, you must create an account with a valid email address. The Service does not use passwords: you sign in by requesting a one-time code, which we send to that email address. You are responsible for:
Because sign-in depends entirely on your email address, losing access to that inbox means losing access to your account. We do not offer an alternative recovery method and cannot restore an account whose email address you can no longer receive mail at.
The Service is offered on three plans. Each includes the same features and server locations; they differ only in the amount of data you may transfer per calendar month, measured in UTC:
Your allowance resets at the start of each UTC month and unused data does not carry forward. If you reach the allowance on a capped plan, active tunnels are disconnected and new connections are refused until the allowance resets. We do not throttle your connection and we do not charge you automatically for exceeding an allowance.
Plus and Pro are auto-renewing subscriptions sold through Apple as in-app purchases. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. Each subscription renews automatically for the same period at the same price unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your Apple Account is charged for the renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. The length and price of the period you are buying are shown in the app before you confirm.
You can view, change, or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple Account settings, under Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep the paid plan until the end of the period you have already paid for, after which your account returns to the free Go plan. We cannot cancel an Apple subscription on your behalf.
Deleting your VPN Dan account does not cancel an Apple subscription. Cancel it in your Apple Account settings first, or you will continue to be billed.
Because Apple processes these payments, refunds are handled by Apple under their terms and at their discretion — request one through reportaproblem.apple.com. There is no refund for the unused portion of a period you have cancelled. Prices are stated in US dollars, may differ by storefront, and may change; Apple will ask you to agree to a price increase before it applies to your subscription. If something has gone wrong with your plan, contact support@vpndan.com and we will help where we can.
We may also grant additional data for a given month at our discretion. Such a grant applies to the current month only.
You agree not to use the Service to:
The Service, including its design, code, graphics, and content, is owned by VPN Dan and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service without our express written permission.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance, updates, or other operational reasons. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from service interruptions.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VPN Dan shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, resulting from:
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or available at all times.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms. You may also terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
